Jurisdiction

1. Who we are

The contract for the Service is between you and Smedia Pro LTD, incorporated in the United Kingdom (registration number 15645745), with its registered address at 7 Bell Yard, London, United Kingdom, WC2A 2JR. References to "Aurora", "we" or "us" in our legal documents refer to this entity.

2. Governing law

Our legal relationship is governed by English law, as set out in our Terms of Service. This is subject to one important reservation: mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence take precedence where they apply, and nothing in our terms deprives you of protections that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you as a consumer.

3. Service availability and sanctions

We may restrict the availability of the Service for any person, territory or jurisdiction. By using the Service, you confirm that you are not subject to applicable sanctions and that you are not using the Service from a comprehensively sanctioned country or region, specifically: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Crimea, the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

4. VPN restrictions by country

In some countries the use of a VPN is restricted or prohibited (for example, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Oman, China, Iran, Russia and the UAE — this list is not exhaustive and changes over time). You are solely responsible for assessing the lawfulness of using the Service in your jurisdiction before doing so.

5. What we can hand over

We are not subject to mandatory data-retention obligations that would require us to log user activity, and we do not log it by choice: no browsing history, no DNS queries, no connection logs.

When an official request reaches us we can only produce what we actually hold — an account email, a subscription record, and coarse traffic totals. Those items, and how long we keep them, are listed in our Privacy Policy and Transparency report. We answer lawful requests from competent authorities; we cannot hand over what was never recorded.
